Some days, Psalm 5 is all I can muster up to spill forth in prayer. It’s my go-to psalm when life feels out of my hands and out of control.

Ps. 5 the perfect wake up call when our hearts are heavy with all.the.things—it’s a beautiful reminder to rise up no matter what the day holds and give it all to the One who watches over us.

Yes! 🙌 In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus…and some coffee too.

For today, let’s watch and wait in both expectation and anticipation of what the Lord’s day will bring.

New mercies. 🕊️ New grace.

When we give our days to God, allowing Holy Spirit to orchestrate His will in our lives, we will live out our days more Kingdom-focused.

🙏 Prayer: In the here and now—for today, Lord, what’s Your plan? How do I align my heart with Yours to do all the things you’ve called me to do…the greater things…the Kingdom things…the things that matter for Eternity?

As I lay out the pieces of my life on your altar and wait for Your fire 🔥 to fall upon my heart, I will worship You and thank You for the breath in my lungs. Oh that I might praise You for You, oh Lord, are worthy! May I always know the sacrifice of prayer as a delight and never a duty.” Amen 🙏
