Compari(sin) is a liar. The enemy knows what you have is a gift from God and he wants to use it against you. If he can get you to look too long at yourself or goad you into looking at the pretty people who have it all, he’s got you right where he wants you—in the clutches of discontent. Susie Larsen says, “Gratefulness is a sacred exercise. The devil cannot stand it when all focus is on God and a soul looks up in praise.” Look away and he’s already won half the battle. Eyes on Jesus is the key to contentment. ✌️Don’t Lose Your Gaze on God because the moment you do, the enemy will have you looking everywhere but at God, the Giver of all good things.
