Desert Blooms
In the deserted places, hope still grows. Holy Week gives us a glimpse into the beauty of our own deserted seasons as we face betrayal or rejection.
When we feel most alone, God is still at work bringing fresh blooms in the most unexpected of ways in the most unlikely places. Easter is a testament to resilience and growth in the face of adversity. 🌸🏜️
When you feel deserted, draw near to the One who never leaves or forsakes you. Jesus won’t desert you.
Don’t give up. Look around and you will see the evidence of God’s glory all around. Notice His handiwork; believe in the unseen hand of God at work in your life in this very moment.
You’re not lost.
You’re not alone.
Though all looked dark on Friday…all hope buried in a tomb, all was not lost, redemption was nigh, with a final cry, “It is finished!”
Jesus gave His life for us.
Saturday would fall silent, left with nothing more to say, no work to be done.
All of heaven paused, anxiously awaiting God’s next move.
Easter morning was bursting to come forth—to reveal God’s plan for death to be defeated—the One and only Son coming back to life with resurrection power in the greatest comeback story of all time.
The grave couldn’t hold Him.
Victory was His destiny.
In our darkest, driest seasons, God is still at work growing something and when the Light comes, there will be Desert 🌵 Blooms 🌸
