Patience | Fruitful Living Series (Part 5)|

More than just waiting well, this fruit of the Spirit is a quiet strength. Vitally important to our overall spiritual wellbeing, patience is long-suffering. Mostly, it bears the weightiness of the world and people and time. Patience endures with hope.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”  – Galatians 6:9

Most importantly, patience is available to us because of Jesus. He paved the way for the Spirit to come. The Spirit gives us all the patience we need in this life. With every obstacle, there is an opportunity. In trying times, we can run to God’s presence to get what we need in the moment. 

When impatience rears its ugly head, patience prevails. Try some of the strategies we discuss and let us know what you thought. Perhaps, you’ll find your go-to for maintaining a sense of calm when you need it most. We’re all wired differently, but patience is available, even if we have to ask God for an extra dose.
