I can identify with David on many levels I’d rather not. However, I am grateful God chose to share David’s defeats with us. Otherwise, we might have thought David was perfect. Shying away from his story, thinking we could never attain the same relationship with God, we would have missed out on the powerful truths his life shows us. Truthfully, it was David’s ugly sin that drew him closer to God and brought about his greatness.

Though he failed miserably time and time again, David always came back stronger.
