The Secret Place…do you know this place?

Do you frequently and intentionally get away with God? Jesus did.

Matthew 14:23 gives us a glimpse into the heart of our Savior, reminding us just how important it is to get alone with God. 🌄 💛

In my morning quiet time, this quote stood out: “Every life that would be strong must have its Holy of Holies into which only God enters.” Sweet girl, get yourself to the mountains. Let his face shine upon you. Soak up the presence of God.

Then, only after you’ve been still and lingered a little longer with the Lord, get yourself back out there into the world that needs what you have in your heart. This is where our strength comes from—the Lord, time spent with him, alone, apart from the crowds, in adoration of the One who changes us from the inside out and gives us the ability to love like Jesus.

Time spent in the Word is never wasted. So, darlin’ get yourself to the mountains! 🏔️

You won’t regret it. In the busyness, the best practice is to steal away for a few moments in The Secret Place.
