The world cancels the unlovely when they don’t comply.
The Word calls forth beauty from ashes when consequences burn the house down.
The world welcomes the arrogance of “do whatever makes you happy” leading to despair.
The Word turns its back on feel-good sin—not to look the other way, but as an offering—an invitation to repentance leading to joy.

While the world says, “come and play” without mention of the cost, the Word issues a tell-all; it will cost you something.
Either way, everything is at stake.

The world will cost you everything with nothing left to give you in return.
The Word promises it will cost you everything, yet only that which lasts will remain—an eternal inheritance available in the here and now and there and then.

Everything is a lot. What will you do with your all?

When the way of the world causes us to fall apart, God gives us the best of both worlds; in finding Him—He takes what’s left when we’re down to nothing and sets us apart for our good and His glory. When we share our storylines, showing others where we went wrong—the pitfalls, the missteps, the traps set by an enemy who only comes to steal, kill, and destroy—we become a survivor wielding the power of our voice to protect, warn, and guide others to the way everlasting.
