“Be grateful…” they say.

“Be grateful…” they say.

These are difficult words to swallow and follow through on when the hurt or pain comes from a place you never dreamed.

It’s Sunday. It’s Father’s Day. I don’t know what today brings up in your soul, but run to the Father with whatever you are feeling.

Many have been hurt by the church…those who were to have taken care of them. Only recently has this come to light…though the pain has been endured since times of old.

When those closest to us wound us, there is but one place to run…to the arms of our Father in heaven…to Jesus who bore every sin so we wouldn’t have to…there is much more to the sentiment scrawled cross this image…there is ultimate Truth covered by many layers and layers of unforgettable experiences…

my 🙏 prayer for you:

May your wounds push you toward God ever so gently.
May you fall into the arms of our Approachable Father.
May you be healed by the One whose stripes represent the hell Jesus went through to save you.
May Holy Spirit tend to those wounds no one else sees.
May you find restoration in these words:

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
