It is well with your soul…God is with you in the wilderness. Rest, dear heart. Meditate on these verses and let God restore your soul with these truths about the wilderness:

It’s not forever:

“You have been traveling
around this mountain country long enough. Turn northward”
Deuteronomy 2:3 ESV

It’s not a punishment:

“God, your God, has blessed you in everything you have done. He has guarded you in your travels through this immense wilderness.
For forty years now, God, your God, has been right here with you.
You haven’t lacked one thing.”
Deuteronomy 2:7 MSG

It’s not an isolation chamber:

“You, in Your great compassion,
Did not forsake them in the wilderness;
The pillar of cloud
did not leave them by day, To guide them on their way, Nor the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go.”
Nehemiah 9:19 NASB1995
