If we only knew what the wilderness would produce in us, we would willingly go. The desert makes us thirsty and hungry. Being isolated (or set apart if you choose to see it that way) drives us to the One thing that satisfies both.

We are weary, He restores.
We are tired, He rejuvenates.
We are lonely, He relishes in having our full attention.
We are lost, He redirects our path.
We are broken, in bondage to whatever draws our hearts away, He rescues and redeems.

When we relinquish our will for His way, He resurrects our hearts—what once was dead is now fully alive.

This is the reward of the wilderness: God refines us making us readily available for the next destination—the greater things He has planned for us to do.

Do not let fear or doubt convince you otherwise, you were made for this. The wilderness isn’t a wasteland like the enemy wants you to believe. It’s a land filled with wonder, if you’ll just take notice of how God is moving in and through you.

You were fashioned by the Creator for such a time as this, to walk in all the things He specifically created for you to do.

Dare to dream with God again.

There is always more with God.
