Want to see mountains move? Wait on the Lord

Isaiah 64:4 hit different this year— one line stood out as if I’d never read it before.

➡️God acts on behalf of those who wait on Him. In our waiting, He is working. Our waiting is active, not passive. Because we wait, God moves.

If we want to see MOUNTAINS 🏔️ MOVE, our posture is to wait upon the Lord. While waiting is never easy, we can be sure it’s not in vain. God honors our wait by “acting on our behalf.”

I love the Amplified version: “For from days of old no one has heard, nor has ear perceived, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who works and acts in behalf of the one who [gladly] waits for Him.“
Isaiah 64:4 AMP

Interestingly, God’s Word touches on the HOW of waiting, specifying we are to be glad in the process. That’s the hard part!
Without complaining or grumbling or moaning or throwing a temper tantrum, we’re called to wait well with JOY!

But how?
Here’s some keys 🔑 from the Word:
Just be still with God. Ps. 46:10
Offer your day to God. Ps. 5:3
Yield to Holy Spirit. Gal. 5:16

Advent is here; more than a countdown, it helps us keep our eyes on Jesus in the busyness of December. Don’t forget— December is a gift, darlin’ 🎁
