DAY FIVE ART EP 116 RVR with Amy Elaine & LaTan

On Day Five, the sea came to life! While I’m not a huge fan of swimming in the ocean, this girl loves the beach! Unfortunately, stepping into the shallow waters is where my comfort zone ends. I’m fine on the sandy beach; but when my toes get wet, my heart needs a huge wave of courage to engulf my fears. Our guests today had some mighty big fears to get over too! More importantly, Glenn and Heather Lamp overcame their fears and stepped into a victorious life!

In EP 116 of Real Victory Radio, join me and my amazing cohost, Latan, as we take a little stroll through Emerald Isle, NC. It’s a quaint little coastal town where our special guests, Glenn and Heather Lamp, open their doors each day at Day Five Art Gallery!
Today, they’re sharing a beautiful story of realignment and renewal!

When first heard, my favorite quote from this interview, doesn’t make any sense.

However, for this couple it took everything falling apart to become made whole again. Can you see why their story resonates so much with me? Y’all know I’m a self-confessed, broken girl made whole…my whole ministry is built on that statement. Not surprisingly, these words spoke right to my heart. How can anyone say, “…thanks be to God…” in the midst of falling apart? Well, you’ll have to tune in for the rest of their story.

…thanks be to God~ everything fell apart… – Glenn & Heather Lamp, Day Five Art

Day Five Glenn Lamp quote

After attaining all the things, cul-de-sac Christianity left The Lamps empty and dry.
Inevitably, it was time for a new adventure, but would Heather be able to sit down and watch while God sorted things out? That’s the beauty of this story. Because of Heather’s obedience (and stepping out of God’s way), this couple marked on  a Call to Holy Living. In the midst of a spiritual realignment, Day Five Art was born.

IN THE END, IT’S THE HEART BEHIND DAY FIVE ART

Now, Glenn and Heather spend their days, sharing the HEART BEHIND HIS ART. Because, it’s “not about the fish, but the greatest Fisherman ever,” yes, it’s all about Jesus. And through his art and their gallery by the coast, they share the Gospel with many.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
