Prayer for the girl who thinks others make it look easy!
Hey sweet girl—I just wanted to reach back out to you to let you know how much I appreciated your comment this week. It’s not my heart to make this look easy, but possible! I’ve fought some mighty big lies and demons in my life. My story isn’t a pretty one but God saw me through it. I’m on the other side of some ugly sin and pain now, but please know it wasn’t easy to get there. BUT with Jesus it is possible. The transforming power of the Holy Spirit is the only way I’ve been made new—healed and whole again in Christ.
I’ll absolutely be praying for you.
Prayer for the girl who thinks others make it look easy!
Prayer: Lord, I lift up Your precious daughter to You now and ask for You meet her in the places where the pain seems unending. Let her feel Your Presence like never before and speak life over her now. Father, I pray for strength and courage to overwhelm her heart with Your goodness and faithfulness. Where she cannot see Your hand, give her a glimpse of your heart for her healing. Let her know You see her today and in the days to come. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray for breakthrough in every area of her life right now.
Amen, Lord, let it be so.
Look closer: Psalm 118:12-14 holds imagery of swarming, stinging bees surrounding the Psalmist—he can’t escape the lies & accusations—truth is, words & actions sting, leaving us wounded and in pain. Yet, something happens when we let God’s healing touch bring the healing we need. As we begin to process the pain, the stinging reality of loving what brought us such deep pain eventually brings our breakthrough & healing.
What stung so intensely somehow becomes the salve our soul needs to survive. 🐝
Have you experienced this? Learning to love what brought you to your knees in surrender to the Lord? He is worthy! He is our healer. He won’t let what broke you keep you down, give it to Him and see the glimpses of your breakthrough burst through in your life. 💛AEM 🐝💛🖤Photo 📸 credit: Autumn Saye 2017 🐝This is one of my favorite pieces of art that hangs in my study. Such creativity—without words so much is spoken through this piece.
